Code of conduct
Lockmates is a game you can only win together. Play the way you'd want others to play with you.
Be kind
- No bullying, threats, insults or hate about anyone's race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or where they come from.
- No sexual content, and never with or about anyone under 18.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, including our team.
Play fair
- No cheats, bots, scripts or tools that play for you or change the game.
- Don't share answers to the daily room before it ends, and don't post spoilers.
- Don't use bugs to get a better time or rank. Tell us about them instead.
- One account per person. Don't trade, sell or share accounts or invites.
Keep things safe
- Never share your own or anyone's personal details: real name, address, phone number, school or passwords.
- Don't try to get other players to meet you, pay you or move to another app.
- Players 13 and over can play. If you're younger, please don't sign up.
If something goes wrong
- Block a player and you won't be put in a room with them again, and they can't invite you.
- Report a player from the room with a reason: their name, cheating, being mean, or something else. A person on our team reads every report. We never tell the player who reported them.
What we do
Depending on what happened, we may:
- Warn you.
- Change your name if it was reported and breaks these rules.
- Remove you from the leaderboards for cheating.
- Suspend your account for a while.
- Ban your account for good.
Usually we start with a warning and step up if it happens again. Serious harm, such as threats or anything that puts a young player at risk, can lead straight to a ban, and we may tell the police.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email appeals@playlockmates.com within 30 days. Tell us your username and what happened. A different person from the one who made the decision reviews it, and we reply within 14 days.
You can always download your data and delete your account from the Me screen, even while your account is suspended or banned.
